My story
I was born on September 28, 1988, in Kyiv, Ukraine. From a young age, I was drawn to the kitchen, cooking traditional dishes with my grandmothers and developing a love for food. At 19, I began my professional journey in the culinary world at Murakami, a popular Japanese restaurant chain, starting as a pastry chef. Over three years, I mastered every aspect of the kitchen and eventually became the head chef at one of the locations.
At 23, I moved to Moscow and became the executive chef of a major restaurant chain, “Varenichnaya,” specializing in Slavic cuisine. Over eight years, I opened more than 25 new restaurants within the company. During this time, I also authored two cookbooks, which were sold throughout Russia.
At 30, I took on the role of executive chef at one of the most iconic Russian cuisine restaurants, “Doctor Zhivago.” The following year, at 31, I was honored with the GQ Woman of the Year award in the Gastronomy category. In 2021, I earned a mention in the Michelin Guide.
In 2022, I relocated to Dubai, where I launched two restaurants, Sfumato and Soiree, in Zaha Hadid’s Opus Tower. In 2024, I joined the pre-opening team for FrouFrou at the Lana Dorchester Collection, contributing my expertise to shape a new culinary destination. My journey continues as I aim to create memorable dining experiences and innovative concepts.
